it’s time to go with a nice and clean desktop this week from katie fiddler! hopefully this will inpire you to clean up those folders and random jpegs that are scattered around your screen right now. i promise, you will feel much better afterwards (i should take my own advice.) now all you gotta do is choose the pink or the blue watercolor design…and if you don’t want to put it on your desktop, download it as a texture to use for a project! i keep a whole folder on my desktop of textures and patterns that i either scan, buy or take photos of.

remember when we had that dress your tech contest a while back? i received a ridiculous amount of awesome desktop designs and i figured we should probably do it again. i am constantly amazed at the amount of talent out there. so send me your designs, people are waiting to download them! (see below for submissions)

here’s how it works:
1. create one (or a couple if you would like) desktop wallpaper designs and email it to bri{at}designlovefest.com with the subject line “dress your tech contest.” entries are due by friday march 15th at midnight.

you can download this image (777) to use as a template or just send us one that is 1856 pixels wide and 1161h pixels tall. please submit jpeg files.

2. we will a group of winners to be announced next week. you will get to download their designs and hear a little about the artists. (make sure to send me your portfolio links that you want credited)
