TUNIC LOVE

emerson fry | designlovefest

i’m sure i’m not the only one who saw the pictures of bri in peru and reallllly wanted the tunic she was wearing. i’m a big fan of one sized tunics as they’re so simple to throw on and this one is beautifully hand printed, organic cotton and i can see it being worn all year round. on it’s own in the summer months, or with a big oversized cardigan during the cooler months. and it’s also nursing friendly for all the moms out there and although i’m not a mom, it feels like a really great piece to throw on when you don’t have a minute to get ready.

anyway, it’s from emerson fry, a company i’ve heard of but had never purchased anything from, they are family owned, ethically run and they make really beautiful things. i went down a rabbit hole exploring their collection and ended up purchasing both the tunic¬†above and this gorgeous cotton shirt (you know i’m a sucker for anything purple). here are a few more favorites from their site. and i feel like i always say this but it isn’t sponsored, just wanting to share and support cool small companies that are focused on ethical practices and timeless pieces that you can keep forever.¬†– joanie

few things more classic than a white top and jeans. love the feminine details on this, the swiss dot fabric and the elastic at the wrist, it’s so beautiful!

also really into the tiger tee and the tiger print kimono below.

lots of effortlessly cool pieces on their site! very drawn to the ease of the silhouettes, pieces that transcend trend and time which are the type of things i’m looking to invest in. i haven’t received my order yet but i’ll keep you post on my thoughts once it arrives!
