BATHROOM REVAMP
how’s your week of spring cleaning going? have you followed along with any of our projects? we’d love to know! today we’re talking about the bathroom. i really like my bathroom. the layout, the tile, the bathtub, the fixtures…but it was still lacking an overall vision and felt rather chaotic. too many towels, mismatched everything, tons of almost gone products, etc. so we went in and made some simple adjustments and the outcome was SO much better!
it’s amazing what a few small tweaks can do to a space. and it was all very affordable, swapping out the bathmat, switching the towels up, streamlining my products and cleaning supplies. here are some before and after pictures. and that’s actually how my bathroom looked before (sadly i always have clothes on the floor!)
BEFORE AND AFTER:
i am only one person and live alone so there is no reason i need six towels and three bathrobes out!
i’m attempting to make it more of a habit to wipe down all of the bathroom surfaces a couple of times a week. having a clean bathroom is a great feeling and totally possible if i stay on top of it. i started using the Clorox Clean-Up Cleaner + Bleach and it really gets the job done and disinfects which is crucial when it comes to bathroom cleaning. i can use it in the kitchen as well and the bottle is refillable which i really appreciate!
the cute bath rug is from esalerugs. they are all one of a kind but this is a similar one. i’m normally all about white towels and robes but i thought it would be fun to add in some subtle color. we found these at target and they did the trick (if you’re a white towel girl like me you know that keeping them white is tricky, i wash mine with a little bleach every other week to keep them looking fresh). also added in these make up brushes to round out the color scheme.
(this post is created in partnership with Clorox. thank you for supporting the companies that allow us to create original content for you).
Very nice with some good inspiration, but, wow, that rug just looks dirty and gross. Ruins the whole image. 🙁
Some people have the weirdest reactions… to a rug in a bathroom.
I love love love that rug!!! Am going to try and find a similar one!!
love it! you have inspired me to tackle my bathroom this weekend 🙂
it looks gorgeous! the only change i personally would make would be to put all those little accessories on your counter onto a pretty little tray, just to tie it all together.
Love the bathroom rug! Where can I purchase it? 🙂
erugsales.com! they are all one of a kind but have similar ones available.
sweet! Thank You!
Is it esalerugs.com? The address listed above doesn’t seem to work
Love all of it!! I’m about to buy those towels… Where are those 2 containers from? The brush holder and eye print one?
We’ve been looking for a rug and I’ve never heard of esalerugs! Just purchased an awesome Santa Fe style one from them :). Thanks for sharing this.

Fabulous little tweaks. My spring cleaning is going quite terribly and I’m very behind already! It feels like I want to upend everything all at once, from changing out picture frames to designing new spaces. Do you have any tips for starting on a space and focusing on that?

you mind me asking what brand the two pink bottles in your shower are?
Love that rug and those pink towels. They really give a nice touch to the bathroom.
I also want to know like the others where is that brush holder from? Thank you Bri!
the brush holder is made by Natalie who is a ceramic artist on the side, sorry to disappoint!
What material is the surround around your tub? You are so fortunate to have a bathroom with stylish materials. Thank you.
Where did you get the vanity? I’m moving soon and I love yours!
Where is the tile from?
Hi
your 3 globe ceiling light is exactly what I am trying to find for my upcoming bathroom renovation. Do you know the designer…?

Beautiful! Love the rug 🙂
What size did you get?
Thank you for that beautiful inspo!!
Love this bathroom! I have a super weird question – what is the counter height for your vanity? We have some vessel sinks going in our bathroom and I’m not sure if we need to change the counter height to accommodate them. Thanks!
I love evrything about your bathroom make over! The rug is what makes the whole space come together so beautifully…
Thank you for such lovely inspiration
What are the dimensions of your bath rug?
Where are the towel hooks from?
I love the lights at the ceiling and above the mirror, whom are they from, please?
Lovely revamp.
