HIGHLIGHTS OF 2014!
man oh man. what a year. i took some time today to reflect on everything that’s happened this year, and it was pretty emotional. i felt like this year i found myself in work and sort of lost myself in my personal life. you guys watched while i went through two breakups, and definitely didn’t have the easiest time with it. now, i’m luckily and slowly on the mend and finding my place back on solid ground. during that time, i focused my energy into work and tried my best to create content i was proud of. and i really DO feel extremely proud. i was able to work with so many amazing contributors, brands and friends this year and made blog posts that made me happy. i took multiple jobs that scared me to say yes to and made them work. and i even joined tinder!
i’m so grateful for my small team of girls that help me keep this site going and encourage me everyday. now’s that time of year when the internet gets quiet for a while, i usually get into that emo “reevaluating” mode, and we all spend a little more time on the couch with a drink in hand. (and hopefully mashed potatoes on my plate) 2014 kinda turned me upside down a few times, i must admit. i wonder what next year will be like.
THANK YOU ALL. so so much. SERIOUSLY. for coming to this site, engaging with me even if i don’t always have time to respond to everything, i read all of your comments and they totally keep me going. it means so much to me that i could bring a glimmer of inspiration to your day. thank you for visiting this blog. i really appreciate it. enjoy your break and i’ll see you back here in a little while. –bri

Bri, you have always been such an inspiration to me. It is so cool to see a woman rise from the ashes and focus on herself. Bri, here is to a massively better 2015! Astrologically 2014 was all about bringing up soul stuff we needed to work on. We won’t have a year like that for a long time again. So don’t worry 🙂 As for the beautiful line up of posts, shows what an achievement the year has been. Your crostini station is still my only reference for entertaining. Thanks for a wonderful year. Rach x

Not only that, but your blog in general is a bright, creative spot for my day. Wishing you the best things for 2015!
