i love sharing the photos from the floral workshops with you. they’re all so bright and cheery, an instant pick me up! we had another great class taught by the amazing kristen from moon canyon. it’s so much fun to see the blooms that she brings in, the vibe is so different every class.
the color palate for this class was jewel tones; deep pinks and reds, hits of blue and lots of vibrant green. kristen killed it, of course, with her floral selects. it’s always the best seeing the unload happen and buckets of flowers filling every inch of the studio.
urban palate treated us to a beautiful spread that fit perfectly with the workshop theme. colorful tartines, summer salads and the best berry crostatas.

and, how cute are the wicker baskets they painted in shades of pink for the students to eat out of? we love you urban palate!
the students created their arrangements in vases from anthropologie. the ruggedness of the vases was the perfect edge to the very feminine blooms that they used.
so many varieties of greens! i’m learning from kristen that they really are underrated when it comes to arranging, using a couple varieties makes such big difference.
i’m kind of obsessed with indigo these days and this backdrop was perfect for student (and floral) portraits!
our students are always so cute and stylish!
such a fun class! thanks to everyone who joined us.
