FLORALS IN YOUR SPACE / 07

i’m really happy to share this story with you. kristen created this STUNNING floral wreath and these mini bouquets to match the decor in CHAY, a store in LA i fell in love with quickly. i had to hold back in this store, man. so many beautiful objects, sheepskin rugs, and quality creations. take a look at the next edition of “florals in your space” -bri

CHAY shop is one of those magical oasis among the traffic and heat of los angeles. instantly after walking through the doors you are relived, calm, and ready to enjoy all the treasures locked inside this inspired space.

the color combination throughout the store’s displays were beautiful and inspiring.

how about some flowers on your hat?

i adore foraging little floral bundles and felt that vibe matched the shop so perfectly. using heather, dusty miller and white poppies I created petite bundles wrapped like I would a cleansing white sage bundle.

this wreath below speaks right to my “lady of the canyon” heart with its wild ways. it really doesn’t get any better than this for me. the foxglove, poppy, and heather are all so california in the spring.

i knew that i wanted to make something that spoke to all the beautifully crafted products that Chay has brought together.

Chay, a designer herself, is also the owner and curator of the shop. she is as beautiful, pleasant and artful as the shop itself. go stop by if you get a chance!

I’m loving all the flowers, especially as today is the first day of spring!! And I’ve been seeing more and more of the flower/herb bundles lately. They’re rustic but so simply and fresh. I’m also starting to get a little obsessed with fresh sage.
