CHEERS, 2013

wow, what a YEAR! i’ve learned more this year than ever before. and one of the biggest things i’ve learned is that you have to just manifest your dreams to come true. and don’t stop till they do. it sounds cheesy, but it’s true. i probably overdid it, worked too many days this year, and didn’t really practice “healthy balance” at ALL. every month i told myself i was going to “do less next month” and then would somehow do more. but i was really happy in the process. one of my big goals this year was to launch blogshop in an online format (check) and my goal next year is to travel somewhere once a month. (we just impulsively booked a trip to thailand in february!) my mind spins with ideas the most when i’m in a new environment.

arian and i are headed to tahoe to be with my dad and little brothers for christmas. we are driving there, and i have these visions of us broken down on the side of the road in tons of snow. hopefully that’s not the case. i’m really happy to be spending the holiday with arian too (although i feel bad for stealing him away from his family this year) two freelancers living under one roof can be VERY stressful. lots of late nights, not a lot of stability or schedule. we really need this quality time to just be together outside of our own home for a few days (his office.) my family always goes to a lot of movies during the holidays, and it looks like there’s a lot of good ones out this year. mostly, i’m looking forward to just taking it easy. wishing you all a very happy holiday. see you back here in 2014, cheers! –bri

Merry Christmas Bri! I check your blog probably once a month or so and take a little look through what you’ve been up to. Its inspiring to see all the creative opportunities you’ve had, and fun people you’re able to work with. And you’re so right about manifesting our dreams to come true! I finally just graduated from college and am going to be starting my career as a graphic designer. I believe we’re about the same age, so its a little strange just getting started at this stage in life, but I’m inspired that I can dream big and hopefully see it unfold in some cool ways. Anyway cheers to you, and enjoy some downtime!
