this place was a dream, i tell ya. on my last day in stockholm, asia and kristina took me to rosendals trädgård, a beautiful garden open to the public. it was one of those days i will never ever forget.

you get off the ferry and walk about 15 minutes through tree-lined trails (it’s sort of tricky to find) and then you see this little white greenhouse in the distance…

each greenhouse served a different purpose. a little store, an event space, and the last one was where we had our beautiful lunch.

i hear sunday brunch is outrageous here, so if you visit try to go then. we had a buffet style lunch full of pastries and fresh sandwiches.

i kept thinking about bringing my family here and how much they would love it. my mom, sister and grandma would be in heaven here. hopefully i can take them back someday!

i also was thinking about what a wonderful date this would make. well, for the girl at least 🙂

i loved all the handwriting on the glass. of course, i couldn’t read what it actually said. and the overcast weather was perfect for the day.

my favorite little spot was these bud vases lining the window in the shop…

outside of the greenhouses, you could roam around the gardens. i heard there is a certain time of year where you can pay & wander through these fields and pick your own bouquets.

there was also a field full of apple trees. i think that sign says don’t pick the apples please…don’t worry, i didn’t.

i really enjoyed taking the ferry over too. sorry for the overload of photos, i didn’t want to forget anything from this day! please go visit this place, you won’t regret it.

This looks like such a gorgeous place. I think a really good indication of how much you like a place is when you feel you want to bring lots of other people to see it too.

Rosendal is such a great spot in Djurgarden in Stockholm. It’s great in the summer, but I think it’s even more beautiful on a snowy winter’s day when they light candles and you drink hot chocolate in the greenhouse and enjoy all their pastries. Gorgeous photos.

A freat place to visit, that is for sure. Lovely pictures!

    Hi Bri,
I went to Stockholm last week and took your advice to go to Rosendals Tradgard. It was the very first place I went when I arrived and I wanted to thank you for the tip.
I absolutely adored the place, it’s truly amazing and none of the pictures make this place justice.
It was one of my favorite places from Stockholm as well and I’m so glad I had bookmarked this page for such a long time before I got a chance to visit Stockholm. Thank you again. I love your blog.

Hi! I’m traveling to Stockholm this October, it is the last leg of my trip (going to be in Denmark and Germany before). I will be in Stockholm for 6 days 5 nights. I love the Stockholm guide you created! It will definitely help figuring out what to do and where to go. I wanted to know did you purchase the Stockholm Card while you were there? Did you find it helpful or was it just a waste of money?

    Wanderlust inspired!
