CHECKING IN FROM NY
hello! it’s so gorgeous in new york right now…perfect weather and blogshop is going great. last night i saw jenny slate at a free comedy show in brooklyn with some of my friends from high school and she was hilarious. it was so much fun. this morning we walked across the street for juice & smoothies from the butcher’s daughter (shown below) could that place be any cuter? i think not. definitely go there if you are in the area! makes me want to own a restaurant one day…
I cannot believe that I have still not been to New York…I have some friends getting married in October, so hopefully I can visit then! Glad you are having such an awesome time.
ohmygoodness! did you learn all about marcel the shell? i would have stolen jenny to get drinks with me. she’s hilarious 🙂
That’s a pretty cute place. Love the yellow chairs. Their website is also really nice.

We went to The Butcher’s Daughter during our last trip to New York too – definitely one of the most cheerful restaurants we’ve ever visited!
Jenny Slate is soooooo funny. She was on the newest episode of Drunk History ahah. That restaurant looks adorable. I bet the food was tasty too! Can’t wait to go back to NYC.

Ahhh, my friend was living above this place when she was in New York last Fall! When I visited her it was still under renos and I was curious as to what it was going to be! I’m so glad I looked up the address. I’ll have to drop in when I go to visit my boyfriend who’s moving to NYC (from Toronto) in 2 weeks!
I stumbled across this when looking for new kitchen inspiration on Pinterest. I love how the yellow stools liven up the room, and the exposed shelving is fantastic. Great work!
Oh yeah this weekend was beautiful. Went to Fire Island it was great, a perfect day!

I’m truly enjoying the design and layout of your website.
It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more enjoyable for me to
come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a developer to create your theme?
Exceptional work!
