STYLE / 85
my friend jesse and i decided to get over our creative block the other day and spend the day experimenting with a few style shoots. over the next two weeks you will see 4 very different looks that came out of that saturday together. a lot of times photo shoots are on a rushed schedule…but i really believe that creativity can really come alive when you just give it some time. so we didn’t put any guidelines on this shoot. we had coffee in the morning…went over our inspiration…took a few photos…had lunch (& mimosas)…took some more photos. it was really relaxed & nice.
this one is all about contrast, and color. you will notice a lot of influence from the 60’s and 70’s…which is where i find most of my inspiration.
i truly admire the way that jesse looks at the world. if i think she’s going to shoot a photo one way, she is hiding behind a tree framing the shot completely different. you’ve gotta follow her on instagram…she tells stories through her photos. i love it.
the dress is from shareen vintage, and those shoes are from shoemint. oh! and my hair was done up at the drybar – it’s the best if you need fancy hair fast! have you tried it? i’ve been 2 times this month.
see you back here on thursday for the next look…
