every new city i travel to, i always try to buy a ring while i am there. whether it’s a ring from a cracker jack box or a nice gem from a vintage store. the hunt for that city’s ring brings me to new places i might not have gone if i wasn’t looking for something. this recent paris trip i made an exception and got a bracelet instead. i fell in love with the tiny leather hearts and delicate chain.

What a precious bracelet! I like the tradition of getting something from each country to remind you of your travels. I have a silver ring with a Celtic wraparound design that I bought in Ireland, it was cheap, but it brings back so many wonderful memories.

    Joy says:

I love this tradition you have for yourself — like a contemporary take on the charm bracelet (but better). Some of the things I’ve purchased during my travels are about to fall apart, but I just can’t bear to give them up.

I have a paris necklace and every time I wear it I’m brought back to that trip…one of the best ever! love the bracelet and your tradition. 🙂

What a very pretty and unusual bracelet, and what a lovely thing to do, a wearable momento – a nice way to do it!

    Heather says:

Oh my gosh I love this! I would have gotten the exact same one. If it’s available online, let us know!

    Gaby says:

that’s such a sweet idea. i wish i had thought of something like that before… perhaps in the future.

    Marie says:

Super cute! I love wearing things that bring me back to when I first got them. 🙂

It’s gorgeous Bri & something I would definitely wear!
    Happy Tuesday hun xoxo

What a beautiful sentiment! As a kid I would collect snow globes from vacations…this seems like a much more practical idea

Oh my! I love it – this bracelet is just gorgeous!!!

Oh that is a lovely bracelet, and what a pretty photo. I would love to have one of those.

    niki says:

I try to do the same, but with necklaces 🙂 it’s a great way to remember a special place and good times. It’s also such a good way to add some uniqueness to your wardrobe!

    Candace says:

the bracelet is ridiculously gorgeous! it’s so feminie and cute!<3

That bracelet is beautiful. I love the idea of cultivating a specific memory through something ostensibly non-touristy.

    Liza says:

That’s exactly what I do! I have rings from South East Asia, Turkey, Morocco, Europe and Africa. Not only are rings my favourite item of jewellery, they are also (usually) very tiny, something to be considered when luggage space is an issue (and it generally is when travelling). Your bracelet is absolutely gorgeous though! Metallic leather! I love it. xxx

    Laura Bear says:

so pretty and delicate <3 love the idea that trying to find it takes you places you might not have gone. <3 glad you are back safe

    Jasmine says:

what a cool idea. There’s nothing worse than getting gaudy horrible souvenirs that you don’t want to display! I collect magnets … but try to get ones I would be proud to display (not always do-able.. there’s so much tackiness out there!)

    kelly ann says:

That is pretty much the most perfect bracelet. I love the colors of the hearts!

so adorable! and a great idea for your travels, i try to do something similar – one special thing rather than a bunch of junk i want to get rid of a year later!

who is the artist who made this?

This is so pretty–I was hoping you were going to say it was from somewhere in London so I could have tracked it down and got myself a similar one.

    erin says:

    Such a lovely piece.

    Mariah says:

That is such a fun idea! I’m in love with this bracelet.

    amy says:
