SUNDAYS ARE FOR WANDERING
going to flea markets has always been one of my favorite hobbies. i enjoy just wandering around by myself on a sunday morning and taking it all in. however i do find it very difficult to leave without a few treasures of my own. here are some of my finds from last week at the rosebowl… (and i have been practicing taking my own photographs! which is really fun.)
as you probably know, i am obsessed with matchbox designs, and love typography obviously. i have started a little wall near my desk where i can put up special things i find every week. it makes your space unique and all your own.
vintage glasses. a new and total obsession of mine. and i have a real addiction to the ones with the gold rims and colorful patterns! they make even tap water taste fancy, i’m telling you. a letter N (I just like that letter) and a couple solid bright scarves came home with me as well. a successful trip if you ask me. happy weekend, hopefully i can make it to the long beach flea on sunday!

love all the treasures you found!! especially the glasses. i always find the BEST things at the rosebowl flea, i swear. have you tried the flea at santa monica airport? that one is real good too!

Love the glasses! I’ve had to go into vintage glass rehab- I have way too many! It breaks my heart to walk past them at the rosebowl now, so I snap photos of them instead. And have you heard about Jet Blue’s flights from Burbank to Long Beach this weekend because of the 405 shutdown? It would be hilarious to take a plane to the flea market!

Stay clear of traveling to Long Beach this weekend…Freeway madness. Had such great scores at the Rose Bowl this weekend too!! AH, I’m in love with fleaing. I cannot stop.

as much as i love the flea market in long beach, the whole freeway thing this weekend, makes it not worth it, even though it’s not that far and i could take surface streets. it will have to wait until august.

i saw the glasses in the last picture at one of my local flea markets last weekend…they are lovely! now that you’ve reminded me of them i might swing back by this weekend and see if they’re still there! have a lovely weekend!
