STYLE / 13

i figured with this new set of style posts, why not show you guys some fancy dresses? this red number is especially fun to wear. It makes me feel a little like melanie laurent in the ending of Inglourious Basterds. which is a pretty cool way to feel. and this dress was only $80. quite the steal if you ask me! (i like to belt it sometimes too).

the problem with fancy dresses (and why it’s hard to splurge on them) is that you really only want to wear it a few special times. so that’s why i go vintage! affordable and unique.

i am so happy to have this new God Save the Queen sign hanging in my living room now. it adds so much character to the space (and also gives the concrete room with some warmth). it’s missing two bulbs, but that’s okay.

“Lost Vegas” antique shop on the Blvd near Old Las Vegas (Downtown) is also a must-see spot for great antiques.

I can’t say what’s better. That sign that I am too jealous of or that dress. I loved that gorgeous red dress at the end of Inglorious- totally makes the movie- and then you conjure that up! Ahhhhmazing.
