STYLE / 11

so we got kicked out the carnival for taking these polaroids because mr. carnival scrooge (photographed at the bottom) apparently doesn’t want any photos of his rides? oh well, angela and ithyle snapped some pretty awesome ones before we got busted, so take that scrooge face. i am so in love with those lights on the Zipper ride (and such good memories on that ride as a kid!) i have always LOVED the carnival in the summer. every year we would go and I would ride every single ride and eat all that disgusting (but delicious) food that should be illegal. so when angela was like “hey let’s go shoot carnival polaroids at sunset,” I quickly remembered why i love working with her so much. her imagination.

skirt: gifted by shop dame. and that awesome striped 60′s bangle was a birthday gift from joy.

Anyone who stops the genius Angela from taking photos is on the bad list. But the ones you got are amazing. Oh how I love every post you do. No one has ever given me more inspiration. Your enthusiasm is contagious :)

Ah, the carnival. Even in all its tacky glory, it is a summer staple and some of the best people-watching around!

I am going my hometown festival this weekend! And crossing my fingers the Zipper will make an appearance. The outfit is adorable and the story makes the post even better.

Hi Bri! Beautiful pictures. Do you know what kind of camera Angela was using? I know you mentioned polaroids but I can seem to figure out what model exactly those came from. So cool! Do let the (scrooge) man bring you down!
