As a freelancer, client meetings can be scary, and sending the right message is important. But, professional attire can be so boring, right? It takes a little courage to mix two prints together (and then accessorize on top of that) but just embrace your inner βi like it, and donβt really care if you do.β I sometimes tone down their first impression a bit by covering up my colorful pizazz with a nice solid jacket, and then BAM! (see below) open up and reveal that I have no fear when it comes to my favorite styles. I think clients like confidence, and an outfit is an excellent way to show them that you have it.
jacket: h&m, necklace: vintage, shoes: kate spade, shirt: forever 21, skirt: dolce vita, neon ring: kate spade, yellow ring: anthropologie, pink lipstick: nars schiap
LOVE IT!!! I’m so inspired by your style, your hair, design and blog.
I really love this one! An outfit really is a great way to show you have confidence and know what you like. Professional attire can be horribly boring, so it’s fun to add some surprises here and there π
Need your entire outfit, now! π
Cute! Cute! Cute! I’d hire you on first sight!
so fun! i’m mesmerized by the flash photo! thanks for the encouragement to mix prints! I’m such a scaredy cat!
LOVE the humor, your message, your charm, AND your fearless outfit! π

I cannot get enough of these! and those shoes?! FABULOUS.
continue on your creative journey, oh fearless pattern mixer!
now THAT’S an outfit!
Love this outfit! Mixing prints is my favorite.
What a fantastic attitude you have! I am in the college of Agriculture(lots of cowboys) and feel a bit shy about what I wear. Your comments have made my day π
Awww you’re always so cute! Love the Kate Spade ring. Love anything Kate Spade really…

I love it! You just radiate creativity.
Haha, loved the gif! I work for a bank, where everybody dress the same, all the girls dressed like men, and I don’t care, they may look at me like I’m a freak, but oh well, that’s me.

Agree with Missy – you really do radiate creativity Bri!
Love this outfit. I need to trim down my waist first (babies will do that) and then look at acquiring a few printed skirts for mixing and matching!

(That GIF rocks.)
I love the unexpectedness of this!! You know just the right tools to knock em dead!!
This is so great! The pop of yellow is fabulous. I’m sure clients appreciate getting to see your personality!
Gawh! I have that skirt and always wear it with a boring ol’ t shirt. Boring no more! Thanks for the pattern boost, Bri!
I’m just cruising through your style posts for the bugillionth time and I love all of your huge rings. You wear one or two in almost every post and even though I’m not a big ring person, I’m seriously considering becoming one. Can’t wait to see the new style pics you guys took this weekend (Yes, I stalk you on twitter as well.)
It’s very easy to find out any topic on web as compared to textbooks, as I found this post at this site.
